Ohio Buckeye

Large deciduous tree with dark green, palmate leaves and corky grey bark. 1-2" prickly husks enclose glossy brown seed in fall. Yellow-orange fall foliage may drop early. Full sun to part shade, moist soil. Native to Eastern US. 20-40' x 20-40'.
