Hydrangea quercifolia

Oakleaf Hydrangea

Upright spreading shrub with lobed oak like leaves. Leaves dark green in summer changing to red, orange-brown, and purple in fall. White flowers in 4-12" panicles June through July, turning pinkish and persisting through autumn. Moist fertile well drained soil, full sun to partial shade. Native to Southeastern US. 4-8' x 4-8'.
