Juncus effusus

Soft Rush

Dark green cylindrical stems in upright clumps. Evergreen, slow spreading, with a deep fibrous root system. Tolerates low pH , pollution, and metals. Full sun. Grows in moist to wet soil or standing shallow water. Attractive to wildlife. 3-4' x 1-2'.
