Leiophyllum buxifolium

Box Sandmyrtle

Small evergreen shrub with shiny dark green leaves. Flower buds pink opening to white waxy flowers. Moist sandy acid soil, with peat or organic matter, full sun to part shade, will not tolerate drought. Native to Southeastern US. Up to 3' x up to 5'.
