Photinia prunifolia

Black Chokeberry

Formerly Aronia melanocarpa. Medium shrub with dark green leaves, small white flowers (spring) and persistent, black fruit. Tolerates wide range of conditions, but prefers well-drained, acid soil with high organic content. Full sun to part shade. Native to RI. 3-5’ x 10’.
