Quercus laurifolia

Laurel Oak

Large tree with persistent, leathery dark green shiny leaves (not lobed) 2-4” long. Acorns about 1” long. Prefers rich deep moist to wet soil, full sun. Marginally cold hardy. Native to southern US. 30-70’.
