Pin Oak

Large tree with deeply lobed, bristle- tipped dark green leaves. Grayish brown smooth bark. Good autumn color of red to bronze. Faster growing and easier to transplant than other oaks. Requires moist rich acid soil. Tolerates wet soil and occasional standing water. Native to RI. 60-70’ x 25-40’.
