Quercus phellos

Willow Oak

Large tree with narrow simple (not lobed) leaves, single bristle at tip, dark glossy green. Tiny acorns, ¼ to ½ ‘ long are attractive to wildlife. Prefers moist well drained soil and full sun. Tolerates standing water, air pollution. 40-60’ x 30-40’.
