Black Oak

A large irregularly spreading tree. Lobed dark green leaves are pointed. Black furrowed bark on older trees. Acorns are small with deep caps. Full sun. Prefers moist rich well drained acid soil but will tolerate poor dry or sandy soil. Native to RI. 60-75’ X 60-75’
