Rhus aromatica canadensis
Fast growing, suckering shrub. Trifoliate dark green leaves. Fall color orange-red. Small, somewhat hairy red berries in late summer persist through winter. Transplants easily. Full sun to ¾ shade. Prefers moist acid soil but is adaptable and tolerates dry soil, salt. Native to Northeastern US. 2-6’ x 6-10’.
