Senna marilandica

Maryland Senna

A large herbaceous perennial with bright green compound leaves. Yellow five-petalled flowers in upright racemes bloom in midsummer, followed by 3” seed pods in late fall. Prefers sunny, dry, well- drained open sites. Native to Southeast United States. 3-6’ x 3-4’
