Similar to S. alterniflora. Perennial spreading grass which grows in wet areas of the shoreline and tidal marsh. Used for shoreline protection and tidal marsh restoration. Tough sharp narrow rolled leaves and dark green stems. Full sun, tolerates standing water, salt, wind. Native to RI. To 24”.
