Dwarf English Yew
Large, slow growing evergreen with flat 1” needles, dark green above, yellowish green beneath. Reddish brown scaly bark. Seeds contained in fleshy red arils. All plant parts toxic but eaten by deer. Full sun or shade in very well drained soil. pH adaptable, cold hardy, tolerates heavy pruning , shearing, and hedging. Protect from strong winds. 2-4’ x 12-15’.
