The Learning Landscape environmental education program invites elementary school groups to book an Eco-Exploration Field Trip to the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center during the fall and winter, or the URI Kingston Botanical Garden in the spring, for a hands-on environmental education experience.
Students use all of their senses to explore the plants and wildlife that inhabit southern New England. Topics such as seed diversity, native mammals, native birds, worms and decomposers, ecosystems and more are presented in a fun and age-appropriate format.
