Tom has been instrumental in creating new state legislation and continues to travel up to Beacon Hill to support such bills as the new net metering legislation. He is a founding member of both the Cape and Islands Renewable Energy Collaborative, and Clean Power Now, and also sits on the Cape Cod Million Solar Roofs Board. On a local level Tom works with towns to develop appropriate zoning bylaws for wind installations and technical Community colleges and high schools to support educational outreach and work force development.
