 The Marine Resource Utilization Lab at URI anticipates future openings for Research Assistantships (M.S. or Ph.D.) or Postdoctorial Fellowships in the following areas:

  • Bioconversion of Seafood Processing Wastes into Seafood Flavors, Nutraceuticals and Specialty Aquaculture Feed Ingredients  
  • Cryostabilization Mechanisms of Muscle Proteins     

  • Infusion Technology for Texture Improvement in Muscle Food Products  
  • Recovery and Utilization of Aguacultural Fish Processing By-products
  • Antioxidative Mechanism of Proteins in Minced Fish Tissue  
  • Marine Resource Utilization for High-Value Products Recovery
