Advising and other services of the Health Professions Advisory Office are also available to students who have completed their undergraduate degree at URI or another institution, but lack part or all of the requirements for admission to medical school or other professional programs. Postbaccalaureate students may take the necessary courses as a non-matriculating graduate student, declare a second undergraduate degree, or enroll in a graduate program.

The specific needs of each student will be determined in consultation with the Health Professions Advisor. Postbaccalaureate students must apply for admission to the appropriate programs at URI. Prior to their first semester, students should register with the HPAC Office.
