Our research on  the biogeochemicstry and microbial ecology of leachfield soils was conducted at this Geomatrix research lab in southeastern Connecticut.

 

Laboratory

We are housed in the Coastal Institute in Kingston, across from the Greenhouses complex (Upper College and Flagg Roads) on the Kingston Campus of the University of Rhode Island.

Total C and N analyzer (Carlo Erba)

Mercury intrusion/extrusion porosimeter (Micromeritics)

 High-performance liquid chromatograph with variable UV/Visible detector (Hewlett-Packard))
