The College has instituted
a dynamic, web-based electronic student portfolio to assist students
with their academic programs. The portfolio enables students to
document their skills in the three key groups of educational outcomesknowledge,
communication, and personal growth.
Additional uses of the
portfolio consist of career planning, the creation of a high quality
professional resume, integration of curriculum/co-curriculum, reflection,
advising (academic planning), and student evaluation/grading.
The College also uses
the portfolio as a means of assessing its institutional effectiveness
in undergraduate education.
