Application Process
To apply to the URI Chinese Language Flagship Partner Program, you must be a currently enrolled URI undergraduate student or an admitted student to the University. To apply for admission to the University of Rhode Island, visit the URI Admission Page for an application and more information. Applicants to Flagship are encouraged to apply to URI prior to the URI Early Action / Merit Scholarship deadline of December 1. The URI deadline for the general Freshman Application is February 1.

Eligibility
No prior knowledge of Chinese is necessary to apply, although it is helpful. Visit this page to see if you meet the Chinese Flagship requirements.
Apply
Current undergraduates and admitted students can apply to the URI Chinese Langauge Flagship Program at three points during the year: Dec. 1, Apr. 1, or Aug. 1. Apr. 1 is the priorty deadline for incoming freshmen. Visit this page to access the URI Flagship Application.
