- 12:15 p.m., Candidates assemble in academic attire in the west corridor of the Ryan Center. Details on Graduate Ceremonies.

Graduate Commencement
1 p.m., Ryan Center
3:30 p.m. Academic Awards Ceremony
- The presentation of the University Academic Excellence Awards will be held in Edwards Auditorium, followed by light refreshments at the University Club.
On Sunday, May 19, 2013
- College of Engineering at 9:30 a.m., Mackal Field House
- The Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Continuing Education at 10 a.m., Fine Arts Center Recital Hall
- The College of Nursing at 10 a.m., Keaney Gymnasium
- 10 a.m. – Doors open to Ryan Center. Bachelor's degree candidates and two guests with tickets arrive at Ryan Center.
All additional guests may go to their student's college site or any of the five satellite sites (Edwards Hall, Keaney Gymnasium, Mackal Field House, Fine Arts Center Recital Hall, and Memorial Union Ram's Den). - 12:30 p.m.– Commencement exercises begin. Ceremony includes speeches and honorary degree presentations.
Undergraduate Commencement
Commencement Day includes the University-wide ceremony at the Ryan Center and eight smaller ceremonies held before or just after the main event. Commencement Programs will be available at information booths and from student escorts.
Prior to University-wide CeremonyUniversity-wide Ceremony
Immediately following this 90-minute ceremony, colleges will hold ceremonies at the locations below where all family and friends will see their graduate cross the stage and receive their degree.

- College of Arts and Sciences—Ryan Center
- College of Business Administration—Keaney Gym
- College of the Environment and Life Sciences—Ryan Center
- College of Human Science and Services—Mackal Field House
- College of Pharmacy—Edwards Auditorium

Watch the University's 127th Commencement Ceremonies streaming on URI Live! Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies will be accessible from the University home page, uri.edu. Ceremonies will be simulcast on a WRIU, 90.3 FM.
