Commencement at The University of Rhode Island

Eligibility

Graduate candidates eligible to march in the ceremonies include:

  • Those who have both completed their course work and defended their dissertations/theses (if required) by April 24, 2009
  • Those who have completed their degree requirements by December 2008 or May 2009
  • Those who will have completed both their course work and clinical internships by September 14, 2009.

Undergraduate candidates who have completed their degree requirements by December 2008, or May or August 2009 are eligible to participate in the ceremonies.

Receipt of commencement information does not, in any way, constitute certification for graduation.
