Webcast of Commencement

The University of Rhode Island's 2012 Commencement Ceremonies will be Webcast Live on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, making it possible for many to enjoy the ceremony -- virtually.

People living inside or outside the state, can catch the commencement cermonies live by simply turning on their computer or possibly some smartphones and linking to URI Live!.

  • Saturday, May 19, Graduate Commencement at the Ryan Center begins at 12:15 p.m.

  • Sunday, May 20, the main Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony - Beginning at 12.15 p.m.
    • Narrated by Dave Lavallee, assistant director of URI's Department of Communications and Marketing, the webcast ends at the conclusion of the main ceremony. The webcast does not include the ceremonies that take place for each of the colleges after the main event.

    In case of rain on Sunday, the ceremonies will be webcast live from the Ryan Center at URI.
