Tax Exemption Certifications for the University of Rhode Island
Tax Exemption is available in the following states:
- Rhode Island
- Florida
- Maine
- Massachusetts *
- Michigan *
- Missouri
- New Jersey
Most vendors will allow Accounts Payable to decrease the invoice if tax was applied in these states.
* = The vendor requires paperwork, please contact the Controller's Office for the documentation required to claim this exemption.
Tax Exemption is NOT allowed or has been denied in the following states:
- New York
- North Carolina
