Global Spectrum appointed to manage URI Convocation Center

Global Spectrum, a worldwide facility and events management firm based in Philadelphia, has been named the facility manager for the University of Rhode Island Convocation Center and its separate ice facility. Global Spectrum is one of the largest facility management companies in the nation and the only one to specialize in mid-sized facilities. 

Convocation Center plans to be unveiled

Alumni and friends attending the University of Rhode Island's Alumni Weekend will get a glimpse of what the new Convocation Center will look like as URI officially unveils the floor plans and architectural renderings of the new facility.

Gilbane named program manager for URI Convocation Center

Gilbane Building Co. has been selected as the program manager to oversee planning, programming, design and construction for the $43.6 million Convocation Center project at the University of Rhode Island, the largest building project in URI’s history.

HOK Sport selected as architect for URI Convocation Center
