Planning enables the efficient use of resources, even as programs and facilities evolve to meet the needs of the campus community. It allows for the creation of spaces that cultivate personal growth and a sense of community among the diverse members of the URI population.

Plans prioritize goals and establish implementation strategies. Quality planning considers an array of potential approaches to meeting needs and realizing visions, from simple changes to major capital projects.
