As approaching of the Spring Festival, we invite you to join the URI Chinese New Year Celebration in this fantastic season.
This year we will have the reception in the Multicultural Center and have the performances in the Music Theater at Fine Arts Center. Fortunately, the Wenqin Arts Troupe from Zhejiang University, China, will also join us to celebrate the coming of the Year of Dragon.

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association at University of Rhode Island (URI-CSSA) is an officially registered, non-political, non-profit university organization.
Students and Scholars who identify themselves as Chinese (no matter how you look like) living in the URI community are automatically eligible for its membership.
The goal of URI CSSA is:
To promote communication and cultural exchange among Chinese, American, and all other nationalities in the URI community.
To enrich the lives of its members on campus by organizing various activites.
To help the new students or scholars in every possible way to make their transition into a new environment smooth and easy.
To coorperate with the University and the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) to organize events relating cultural activities.
To assist The Consulate-General of P.R.China to defend the rights of Chinese on campus as well as in the United States.
