Disability Resource Mentors
Since 1999, the Changing the Culture grant has trained over 300 faculty and staff to be "Disability Resource Mentors" (DRMs) at the three Rhode Island state institutions of higher edcuation and at other state and regional institutions.
In this role, DRMs provide resources and advice to colleagues so that they can better meet the needs of students with disabilities.
In this way, students with disabilities will receive improved support, and so these students will be more likely to succeed, persist, and graduate.
Please select an institution using the buttons in the menu bar on the left of the screen to find a list of DRMs for specific institutions of higher education in the State of Rhode Island and in New England.
Please contact us if you have any questions about contacting a Disability Resource Mentor.
