Greetings to all Secondary
Transition Professionals!

This page will serve as a place to obtain materials related to the effort  to contribute to the improvement of meeting the transition needs for students with disabilities in the State of Rhode Island who wish to persue higher education.

Scenarios for use with Secondary Professionals

At the page linked via the button on the menu bar on the left side of the screen, is a list of CTC Transition Scenarios that can be downloaded and used in the secondary setting as part of professional development offerings within districts for the support of students with disabilities in transition to higher education.

You can download any of these scenarios in Word Document format.

These scenarios are useful as professional development tools to inspire discussion about how to best help students with disabilities to successfully prepare for college.

By taking time to consider the issues included in these scenarios, secondary professionals can re-examine their own understanding of the obstacles students with disabilties face in preparing for college, and so better support students with disabilities during this important time.
