Finding Health Information on E-Health
There are two ways to look up health information from the home page:
1.) Perform a search using the “Search” feature
• There is a “Search” box that appears in the upper right corner on the
website. Type the topic you are searching for into the box and use the
mouse to click “Go” or hit the “Enter” key on the keyboard.
• At this point, a number will appear telling you how many links are
found on E-health matching the topic you are searching for.
• Use the mouse to click on any of the links to take you to the website
Note: Be sure to click on the actual website address beginning (http:www.etc)
and not on the website description.
• To the right of the description is the heading “Browse Categories”.
Left- click the mouse to search other topics within this resource
category.
2.) Use the mouse to left-click on a topic under “Resources”
• You may use the arrow keys, the “Page Down” key, or the mouse to
left-click on the bar to the right of the screen and scroll down until
you can view all of the “Resource” topics.
• You can use the mouse to scroll through the topics, and may left-click
on any one when it changes color to narrow your search.
• The topics are now more specific. You will see links to websites. Use
the mouse to left-click on any website you want to view.
• Searching this way is more time consuming, but it will show you all of
the topics within each “Resource” category.
You can return to the home page at any time by using the mouse to
click on “Home” in the upper left corner of the website. |
