| The objective of this cruise is to collect data on sinking organic matter (carbon) in the surface waters (upper 300 m) of the Western North Atlantic Ocean. Once the data is collected and analyzed it will be compared to the data collected on an earlier cruise conducted in the Western Mediterranean, which had the same objective. | ||
