This expedition is a follow-up and comparison study to the expedition to the same location in September 2005. During that expedition, data was collected on the interaction of the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Narragansett Bay during the warmer months. A scan fish was used to map the currents above and below the surface of the water. Another objective is to identify tidal cycles at certain phases.
