Seismic survey of the ocean floor to the north and east of Thera volcano beagan at midnight, and over 150 km of air-gun seismic survey lines were collected today in the area. We explored a field of small submarine volcanic cones that extend to the north-east of Kolumbo submarine volcano and they are a new discovery.

The weather has been very favorable for the
seismic survey, calm seas and excellent conditions. We picked up the Greek sedimentologist Evi Nomikou at Thera this afternoon.
