Due to the high cost of processing credit card payments, the University has made the decision to secure an outside vendor to accept credit cards and electronic (ACH) payments for URI student term bills. Payments will be accepted online via a secure web site created in partnership with Sallie Mae Solutions. To access this website, please click the link below. From this page, you will be able to select from one of two payment choices. Please be advised that the following convenience fees will be applicable:
-
A convenience fee of 2.4% will be assessed to all MC, AMEX, and Discover Card payment transactions.
-
A convenience fee of $.35 will be assessed to all electronic (ACH) payment transactions.
Registration Cancellation And Withdrawal
Non-attendance does not relieve you of your financial obligation or entitle you to a refund. If you decide not to attend the University after you have registered for the semester, the charges on your bill will remain your responsibility unless you properly withdraw or take a leave of absence from the University. If you withdraw prior to the start of the semester, you will have no tuition/fee liability. Once the semester has started, you will be held responsible for the charges in accordance with the University refund schedule.
