Payment Information

Electronic billing (e-Bills) is the official billing method for tuition and fee invoices at the University of Rhode Island. Students can view and pay their e-Bills online via e-Campus. Students can also invite other payers, such as a parent, to access their e-Bills. Electronic payments are encouraged, and payment is due by the due date indicated on your e-Bill.  Paper invoices will not be mailed, however; a copy of the invoice and a payment coupon can be printed from the e-Bill Portal for those who prefer to pay by mailing a check.  All checks and money orders should be made payable to the University of Rhode Island, and the student's URI ID number should be written on the check.

Payment by cash or check may be made in person at Green Hall during the hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from 9:30am to 4:00pm on Wednesday.

Term bill payments can also be initiated through our website.  To access this option, please click the link below. Payments can be made by electronic (ACH) payment, or by credit card.  Please note that convenience fees will apply when payment is made by credit card.  There is no fee for payment made by electronic (ACH) payment.

Registration Cancellation And Withdrawal

Non-attendance does not relieve you of your financial obligation or entitle you to a refund. If you decide not to attend the University after you have registered for the semester, the charges on your bill will remain your responsibility unless you properly withdraw or take a leave of absence from the University. If you withdraw prior to the start of the semester, you will have no tuition/fee liability. Once the semester has started, you will be held responsible for the charges in accordance with the University Billing Adjustment and Refund Schedule.
