Reasons for Faculty/Students/Employers to contact you
Students, Faculty/Staff, and Community Partners may contact me if they have questions regarding community service, civic engagement and/or service learning at URI. I help connect students with volunteer opportunities, complete service requirements and find leadership positions on campus and in the community. I also work with Community Partners to keep up to date on needs in the community and where URI volunteers can be of most help. I advise URI S.A.V.E.S (the volunteering club), lead several student leadership programs (including AmeriCorps) and coordinate the URI 101 freshman service experience, the Feinstein Enriching America Program.
Something interesting you want to share about yourself (e.g. hobbies, interests, travel experiences etc.)
I love spending time outdoors, especially hiking or jogging; I enjoy reading, or traveling to do community service, or visit my family (particularly my niece and nephew); I am also a strong supporter of Autism Speaks.
How long have you worked at URI?
5 years
