Bonnie Jacob joined the University's Facilities Services Department in November 2007 as Coordinator. Bonnie received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree from The University of Rhode Island. Prior to joining the University Bonnie was employed for ten years as Human Resource Director at a local textile industry.

Harry Davis joined the University’s Facilities Services team in 1989. He has managerial oversight of the department's Maintenance and Repair division and is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the academic, athletic, residential facilities and utility infrastructure. After retiring from the Marine Corp, the greater part of his career has been spent working in various aspects of facilities maintenance.  Harry received his BS degree from Rhode Island College.  Harry and his team of professional technicians strive to provide a quality educational, living and working environment for all of our customers.

Peyton Gibson is the Assistant Director, Financial Administration for the Facilities Services Department. Peyton has been with the University since 1990 and joined the Facilities Services Department in 1995. Peyton received his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie–Mellon University. Prior to joining the University in 1990 Peyton was employed as an operations analyst for Fleet Bank. As the Assistant Director for Financial Administration Peyton oversees all fiscal and financial management functions including information technology and management of Central Stores.

Peyton's mission is to ensure that the Facilities Services Department’s resources are utilized in the most cost effective and efficient manner by incorporating the best practices of business administration, fiscal / IT management, as well as utilizing sound accounting, purchasing, principles, procedures and practices.

Dave Bascom, URI class of 1965, returned to his alma mater to join the University’s Facilities Services Department in July of 1983, as the Assistant Director for Landscape and Grounds.  Prior to arriving at the University, he worked as a landscape designer, planning consultant, garden center sales representative and project manager for over 15 years.  Dave is licensed in RI as a landscape architect, arborist and commercial pesticide applicator. He and his staff manage and maintain solid waste; recycling; minor road, walk, drainage and parking lot repairs; site improvements; lawn, shrub and tree care; snow and de-icing operations; and support student, staff programs and athletic events.

Dave Lamb joined the University's Facilities Service Department in December of 2002 as the Utilities Engineer. Dave has an extensive private sector utilities engineering background. Dave holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Rhode Island; EIT Certificate for Professional Engineering License; and Certified Energy Procurement Manager - Association of Energy Engineers. Dave's responsibilities include administrative management of utilities, technical advisor for the mechanical and utility systems, and implementing various energy procurement strategies for the University.

Doug Michael joined URI’s Facilities Services Department early in 2007.  Formerly, he worked for a global outsource management company, serving as Custodial Manager of the Providence School Department, and in equivalent positions in secondary and higher ed in St. Louis, Philadelphia and The Bronx.  For seventeen years, he served as sole marketing and revenue manager for First Night Providence.  He holds a BA and MBA in economics from the University of Florida.

Doug joins a truly professional, dedicated and diligent team of four Building Superintendents and seventy-five housekeepers who provide cleaning and other essential, quality-of-life services to the University.

John Marshall joined the University's Facilities Services Department in January of 2003 as Sr. Information Technologist. John received his BS degree from the New England Institute of Technology. John is responsible for supporting the Facilities Services computerized management system and ensuring the integrity of the electronic data provided. John provides IT support to the Facilities Service staff and training when needed.

Lou Ann Diomandes is the Chief Clerk for the Maintenance Control Center. She joined the University's Facilities Services Department in September of 2003, bringing with her valuable expertise and insights gained as SWPT and Fiscal Clerk. Her wealth of clerical and customer service acumen is being applied daily to strengthening the University's Control Center, where she has played an integral part in spearheading an effective new Customer Service Plan. As part of her efforts to better serve the campus community, she attended the Community College of Rhode Island program of Introduction to Facilities Management within the Workforce Training and Corporate Education program, and is continuing her education at both CCRI and URI.

Nancy Hawksley was appointed Recycling Coordinator on America Recycles Day 1997. She began her career at URI in 1981, and joined the Department of Facilities Services in 2000. Nancy earned her MA in Adult Education and her BA in Theatre and Dance at URI. Nancy and her team of students and laborers strive to provide quality sustainable solid waste services and education to the entire university community.
