CHANGE: Description for the following courses:
1) CHM 101 General Chemistry Lecture I (I and II, 3)
Fundamental chemical concepts and principles. Topics include states
of matter, stoichiometry, reactivity, atomic structure,
thermochemisry, bonding, molecular structure and solutions.Not open
to students with credit in 103 or 191.
2) CHM 102 Laboratory for Chemistry 101 (I and II, 1)
Experimental applications of chemical concepts and reactivity
emphasizing safety and technique. Experiments follow the content of

3) CHM 112 General Chemistry Lecture II (I and II, 3)
Chemical kinetics, equilibrium, elementary thermodynamics and
electrochemistry integrated with descriptive chemistry and practical
applications.
4) CHM 114 Laboratory for Chemistry 112 (I and II, 1)
Experiments follow the content of 112.
2. Department of English and the Justice, Law and Society minor
CHANGE: List of courses available for the Justice,
Law and Society minor by adding "ENG 356 Literature and the Law."

Architecture
a. CHANGE: Description and prerequisite for LAR 300
to read as follows:
LAR 300 Computers in Landscape Architecture (I,
4) Intensive course in computer usage for landscape architects.

c. CHANGE: Requirements for the Marine Biology major by adding:
Students must take at least three laboratory courses

CHANGE: Requirements for all curriculums in Chemistry
by deleting PHY 213, 214, 285 and 286.
3. Department of Languages
CHANGE: Requirements for the B. A. program in German
by replacing "at least six credits must be taken at the 400-level in
literature" with the following:
Six credits at the 400 level are required. Students
must also complete at least six credits in literature; at least three
credits in literature must be taken at the 400 level. Students in the
International Engineering Program must complete GER 411.
4. Department of Psychology
a. CHANGE: Number of credits for PSY 301 to "4" and
method of instruction to "(Lec. 3, Lab. 2)."
b. CHANGE: Requirements for the B. A. degree in Psychology as
follows:
1) Require a grade of C or better in both PSY 300 and
301 rather than a C average in the two courses
2) Require 31 rather than 30 credits in the major
5. Department of Sociology and Anthropology
a. CHANGE: Requirement in the B. S. in Applied
Sociology by replacing "MTH 107 or 108 or 111" with "MTH 111."
