During the summer and at the September 29,
2003 meeting of the Curricular Affairs Committee, the following
matters were considered and are now presented to the Faculty
Senate.

CHANGE: Description for ART 304
and ART 306 by adding "May be repeated once for credit with
permission of instructor."
2. Department of Economics
ADD: ECN 398X Economy, Ecology and
Society (3)
The role of the complex interaction among
economic, social and ecological forces in the rise and disintegration
of complex societies and in the current global ecological crisis.
(Lec. 3) Pre: 100, 201, or 202.
3. Department of Mathematics
ADD: MTH 110X Mathematical
Foundations for Business Analysis (3)
Designed to strengthen math background for BAC
120. Equations, inequalities; polynomial and rational expressions;
exponentials and logarithms. Introduction to linear algebra and

Investigates the relationship between behavior
and health, introduces the most important theories of behavior
change, and explores specific behaviors and behavior change
strategies from an individual and public health perspective. (Lec.
