Application of flat pattern design using computer-aided design techniques as related to sloper development, sizing, and pattern manipulation. Creative laboratory processes from design to finished product. (Lec. 2., Lab. 2) Pre: 335 or permission of instructor.

 

D.   Policy on Scheduling of lecture (Lec.) or lecture-recitation (Lec. Rec.) courses with the same number of contact hours per week.

 

The Curricular Affairs Committee agreed that lecture (Lec.) courses and lecture-recitation (Lec. Rec.) courses may be scheduled interchangeably as long as the contact hours for the courses are equivalent to the credits.

Students who declare a minor in Film Media must complete 18 credit hours of courses in which film and film-related media provide the primary texts of study.  FLM101 Introduction to Film & Screen Studies  (or HPR105F Honors Study:  the Feature Film) is required for the minor, plus a minimum of three credits in each of the following approaches to film and media study:

These courses focus on the practices of film/video/media production; how moving images are created, designed and used to serve a variety of functions.

b. CHANGE: Requirements for the Pharm.D. for students entering in the Fall 2005:

 

             In the fall of the first professional year replace BPS 314, 315 and 324 with BPS 301, 303 and 305 and reduce number of credits for graduation to 193.

The Curricular Affairs Committee recommends that departments and colleges use the attached formwhen proposing informational changes (minor changes) and course deletions.  (See http://www.uri.edu/facsen/CAC_Minor_Change_form.pdf) Proposals for the establishment of new courses (including new temporary courses) and major course changes will require the standard Course Proposal Form.
