Calendars
2007-08, 2008-09 and
2009-10

In accordance with the
legislation adopted by the Faculty Senate during the 2002-03 academic
year, the Academic Standards and Calendar Committee recommends
adoption of the attached calendars for 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10.
Calendars approved previously are provided for comparison.
The Academic Standards and
Calendar Committees has made every effort to produce calendars with
an equal number of MTWRF class days each semester and to satisfy
Federal Financial Aid guidelines for the total number of weeks for
each academic year. In addition, the committee must conform to the
following mandates:
- The fall
semester must begin after Labor Day and end before
Christmas
- The spring
semester must end before Commencement, which must be held one week
before the weekend preceding Memorial Day.
- Monday
holidays must be accommodated
