D. Recommendations of the Executive Committee - Vice Chairperson Luebke

1) That the Faculty Senate appoint Professor Celia MacDonnell and Professor Karen Ramsay to the Search Committee for the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management.

2) That the Faculty Senate respond to President Carothers’ veto of Bill #06-07--10 by establishing an ad hoc committee to review 8.87.10 and 8.87.11 with the intention of crafting new legislation that would satisfy both the Administration and the Faculty Senate as recommended in the FSEC’s Report #06-07-3 (attached pp. 23-24)

3) That the Faculty Senate approve the charge to and membership of the Joint Classroom Steering Committee as recommended in the FSEC’s Report #06-07-4 (attached pp. 25-26)

E. Update on NEASC Accreditation Self-Study -- Senator Kowalski.

#06-07--10  Abolition of Programs Legislation on Suspension of Academic Programs. 30-day extension of time requested by President Carothers. Disapproved by President Carothers on January 26, 2007 (letter attached p.27)

#06-07--11  The Four Hundred Forty-Sixth Report of the Curricular Affairs Committee.  Approved by President Carothers on December 21, 2006, portions subject to final approval by the Board of Governors.

#06-07--12  Curricular Report No. 2006-2007-3 from the Graduate Council to the Faculty Senate.  Approved by President Carothers on December 21, 2006.

#06-07--13 Curricular Report No. 2006-2007-3A from the Graduate Council to the Faculty Senate:  Dual Degree Doctoral program joint with the Technische Universiat.  Approved by President Carothers on December 21, 2006, subject to final approval by the Board of Governors.
