2003, the Graduate Council considered and approved the following
curricular matters which are now submitted to the Faculty Senate for

a. Change:
Change the name of the department and
the title of the masters degree to Kinesiology*
EXS 563 Fitness Programs for the
Middle Aged and Elderly &endash; change title and description to
read:
Epidemiology of Physical
Activity (3)
Presentation of exercise epidemiology
and the effects of exercise on health. Current findings regarding the
association between physical activity and chronic diseases and their
risk factors.
