2. Moment of silent remembrance:

Resources Science and Associate Dean of
the College of Resource Development
3. Disposition of Minutes of General
Faculty - Graduate Faculty Meeting of September 22, 2011 (see attached).
4. Approval
of degree certification for December 2011:
a. Provost DeHayes: Undergraduate degrees;
b. Dean Zawia: Graduate degrees.
5. Adjournment immediately followed by
Faculty Senate Meeting.

General Faculty - Graduate Faculty Meeting
September 22, 2011
1.
The meeting was called to order by President
Dooley at 3:08 p.m. in the Cherry Auditorium, Chester Kirk Building.
President Dooley welcomed everyone back for
the beginning of the academic year.
2. President Dooley asked the faculty
to stand and observe a moment of silence in memory of the following faculty members
who had passed away since the last meeting of the General Faculty-Graduate
Faculty:
Edward Carney, Professor Emeritus, Department of Computer
Science and Statistics
Barbara Tate, Dean and Professor Emerita, College of
Nursing
3. The Minutes of General Faculty -
Graduate Faculty Meeting of April 21, 2011 were approved as distributed.
4. Provost DeHayes moved to recommend to the Board of Governors
for Higher Education approval of the candidates for the award of undergraduate
degrees whose names appeared on the September 20, 2011 list of graduates
subject to certification by the Colleges and the Director of Enrollment
Services. The motion passed.
Dean
Zawia moved to recommend to the Board of Governors for Higher Education
approval of the candidates for the award of graduate degrees whose names are
certified by the Graduate School for August 2011. The motion passed.
5. The meeting was adjourned at 3:11 p.m.
and was followed by a meeting of the Faculty Senate.
