Support for all academic programs is allocated to the Provost of the University, who uses that money as she generally sees fit to accomplish the mission of Academic Affairs. While increased funding for proposal development and faculty development is appropriate, the Provost must balance these against all other good causes requiring her support. Should she see fit to allocate funding consistent with the intent of the Resolution, I would be supportive.
