I cannot support the resolution as
characterized: "Endorsement of Recommendation to Oppose Priority
Registration for Athletes." I have no position on priority
registration for athletes at this time, nor do I believe that the Ad
Hoc Committee reached a conclusion on this matter. Rather, their
report recommends further study, including an open forum and focus
groups related to priority scheduling for a variety of student
cohorts. I support those recommendations
