The following temporary courses have been proposed this month:
ELE 315X Electrical Power Distribution and
Transmission (II, 3) Review of electrical power, three-phase,
and per unit. Distribution system layout, distribution transformers
substations, and line construction. Transmission system overview,
transmission line parameters, fault current calculation, and
protection. (Lec. 3) Pre: 212, PHY 204. Staff
THE 101X Play Production: African American Theatre (I, 3)
Designed to provide students with a practical understanding of the
process of creating African American Theatre and then promote and
market it to a wide audience. (Lec. 2, Lab. 4) Pitts-Wiley
THE 112X Introduction to Acting II (II, 3) To expand the work of
Theatre 111 (exercise for relaxation, concentration, imagination)
with character work on a monologue and scene complemented by intense
work on voice, text and movement. (Lab. 9) Pre: 111. Staff
