TEMPORARY COURSE NEWSLETTER

The following temporary courses have been proposed this month:

CHE 544X Reaction Engineering (3)

Introduction, multiple reactions, fuel cells, batteries, catalytic reactors, mathematical methods for calculation of reactor performance, and special problems. (Lec. 3) Pre: 464 or equivalent.

COM 315X Communication and Social Influence (3)

Focuses on theory of social influence in interpersonal, group, and public settings. Topics include audience analysis, ethics, motivation, messages, psychological and rhetorical principles, source credibility, and attitude change. (Lec. 3) Pre: 206 or permission of instructor. APPROVED

DHY 390X Oral Health Internship (3-6)

Supervised experience in an approved professional organization such as a health department or community clinic. Specific details determined in consultation with faculty supervisor and off-campus liaison. (Practicum) Pre: permission of instructor. May be taken in one semester or repeated for a maximum of 6 credits. S/U only. APPROVED
