The following temporary courses have been
proposed this month:
FLM 305X Acting
for Narrative Film (3)
Introduction to theories of acting and
analysis of acting styles in narrative film, script analysis and
acting techniques for the camera, creation of narrative film with
production team and screenwriters. (Lec. 3) Pre: permission of
instructor (preference to students who have completed 101, acting
classes -- preferably scene study, or clear demonstration of previous
film or video production experience, including shooting, directing,
acting and/or editing).
FLM 350X (or COM 350X)
Digital Filmmaking of Short Narrative Film (3)
Introduction to principles and processes of
narrative short digital filmmaking, including storyboarding,
production planning, lighting, sound, composition, editing and
directing. Pre: permission of instructor (preference to students who
have production experience and completed at least one of the
following or equivalents: 101, ART 215, COM 341, 342.)
