The following temporary courses have been proposed this month:

JPN 201X Japanese Conversation and Intercultural Communication (1)

Language development and intercultural practice. (Lec. 1) Pre: JPN 101 or permission of instructor.  WITHDRAWN

MTH 140X Calculus 1A (1)

This course is offered during J-Term and is designed to enhance students' understanding of MTH 141 - Introductory Calculus with Analytic Geometry. A review is given of concepts from MTH 141 that have been identified as crucial for success in MTH 142 - Intermediate Calculus with Analytic Geometry. It is designed for students who passed MTH 141 with a D or D+ and plan to take MTH 142. (Online).  Pre: MTH 141, or permission. APPROVED

MUS 100X  World Percussion Traditions (2)

The study of music traditions that predominantly feature the use of percussion instruments and are beyond the realms of European-based Art Music. (Lab 2). APPROVED

The Temporary Course Newsletter is distributed on the last weekday of each month, as required, throughout the calendar year. Proposed temporary courses received by the 25th of the month will be printed in that month's edition of the Temporary Course Newsletter.
