A. NEW COURSES

AAF 100X What's Culture Got To Do With It? (3)

This course will examine how American culture has been shaped through

categorization of people because of their differences. (Lec. 3)

ISE 425X  Systems Simulation Methods (3)

Fundamentals of computer based simulations. Input and output analysis.

Random number testing. Special distributions. Term project on simulation design.

Verification and validation.(Lec. 2, Lab. 3) Pre: ISE411 or permission of instructor.

ISE 445X  Facilities Planning and Material Handling (3)

Fundamentals in facility layout, facility location, and material handling systems.

Topics include system requirements, design, models, performance analysis, equipment,

and economic considerations. Applications include manufacturing, distribution, healthcare,

and service industries. (Lec. 3)  Pre: ISE 220, 240, and 432 or permission of instructor
